THE DIVING BOARD EXPERIENCE

Kasteelspoort, which translate’s from Afrikaans as “Castle’s Portal,” scales the dramatic Twelve Apostles on the western, Atlantic side of Table Mountain. This is one of the more gradual and accessible routes up, topping out at a lower plateau of about 700 metres rather than the main summit.
The rewards are massive. Once on top, you will be treated to sweeping ocean vistas and a striking mountain backdrop. We will stop at the iconic diving board rock for an epic photo session and explore historical traces of the old mountaintop railway and cableway. From the plateau, we will make our way toward the main Cable Car station or choose a scenic route down the mountain.
